Cash, check, and credit card transactions are the most common forms of annual support. Boston University accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Checks should be made payable to Trustees of Boston University.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are one of the easiest ways to greatly increase the impact of your gift to Boston University athletics. Many employers will match donations made by their employees and their spouses to educational or charitable organizations - thus multiplying your gift and impact. Please visit your human resources office to see if your employer or your spouse's employer offers this benefit.
Securities
Boston University accepts gifts of appreciated stock, bonds, securities, and mutual funds. Market value for gifts of appreciated securities will be determined by Boston University at time of transfer.
Real Estate/Personal Assets
Boston University accepts gifts of real estate or tangible personal assets, including but not limited to, furniture, rare books, automobiles, fine or antique jewelry, paintings, and antiques. The donor to obtain an accurate valuation of the item contributed prior to making the gift.
Estate/Life Income Gifts
Planned or Alternative gifts may include bequest intentions, annuities, retirement account disbursements or life insurance. These gifts are a way for a donor to make substantial contributions to Boston University while maximizing personal tax benefits.
Gifts-in-Kind
Contributions of product, merchandise, equipment, or services are often provided in support of the Athletic Department. These gifts may satisfy priority seating requirements. Gift-in-kind donations must receive approval from the Athletic Department and are reviewed on a yearly basis.
