On Friday, Jan. 26, the Boston University Department of Athletics and Office of Terrier Pride presented Lawrence A. Cohen (CAS’83) with the Thomas H. Fitzpatrick award. 

The Thomas H. Fitzpatrick Memorial Award, named in honor of the 1927 graduate of the University, is presented annually to an alumnus of Boston University for inspirational presence offered unselfishly to the Boston University athletic program.

Over the past three years, Larry and his wife Judy (CAS’83) have supported a variety of athletic initiatives including the Student Village Campaign and Terrier Pride. Most recently, they initiated an endowed athletic scholarship to be presented to a worthy student-athlete from the College of Arts and Sciences.
