The 13 Boston University women’s athletics programs will host their annual golf outing on Monday, August 21, at River Bend County Club in West Bridgewater, Mass. The tournament will celebrate the accomplishments of the past year for Terrier women’s athletics and preview anticipated future successes.

Participation in the event exists either in the form of signing up to play a round of 18 holes or various sponsorship opportunities. Cost for a foursome is $600 ($150 per individual), whereas sponsorships range from $200 - $10,000, depending on the level. Proceeds from the tournament directly contribute to the experience of the BU student-athlete and allows them opportunities to foster their athletic and academic excellence.

In 2005-06, Boston University women’s athletics captured an America East record seven championships (cross country, field hockey, soccer, indoor track, lacrosse, golf and tennis). For the second consecutive year, four coaches were honored as coach of the year for the conference in their respective sports (soccer, diving, indoor track, and golf).
