Athletic Annual Giving Officer

Jason Factor joined Boston University's Office of Terrier Pride in January 2005.

As the department's Annual Giving Officer, Factor directs the Terrier Pride Athletic Annual Funds. Working closely with the coaches and student-athletes, he oversees athletic annual fund solicitations and the communication plans for each team's friends group. Under his management, the Terrier Pride Athletic Annual Funds continue to realize record increases, including 23 percent growth during his first year.

In addition to his collegiate experience, he has worked with a variety of professional sports organizations including the Boston Bruins' Community Relations & Marketing Department, the New Jersey Jackals' marketing and promotions team, and the Boston Red Sox's Fenway Force.

Factor graduated in 2004 from Boston University's College of Communication, where he majored in advertising and minored in sociology. While attending BU, he played four years on the baseball team as a second baseman and third baseman. He also worked for the Athletic Department assisting with in-game promotions, ticket sales and fundraising.

Originally from San Diego, and later Long Valley, N.J., Factor now resides in Brighton.
