Four Set for Induction into Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame

Former Terrier student-athletes Larry Davenport, Deidre Enos, Shawn McEachern and Andre Maksimow will be inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch announced today. The 48th annual induction banquet will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008, in the Trustees' Ballroom on the ninth floor of the Boston University School of Management. In addition, four additional annual awards will be presented at that event.

Hall of Fame Celebrates Current and Former Terriers

On Saturday, Jan. 21, the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame held its 47thannual induction banquet as part of BU's Winterfest Weekend. The 2006 Hall of Fame inductees included Alison Caito (field hockey), Francis Okaroh (men's soccer), Heidi Steiber (women's tennis), and Chris Studer (wrestling). The Hall of Fame also recognized five individuals for their contributions to Boston University and intercollegiate athletics.

Four former Terriers will be inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 21, when the 47th annual banquet will be held as part of Winterfest Weekend. Four Former Terrier Athletes To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

Four former Terrier athletes who starred in football, ice hockey and field hockey will be inducted into the Boston University Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 9. The induction ceremonies will take place in the University's George Sherman Student Union Building.

Terrier Hall of Famer Doug Raymond Passes Away

Doug Raymond, a record-breaking middle distance runner during his undergraduate career at Boston University who went on to develop Terrier track men into school record holders and Olympians during a 15-year coaching career, passed away on November 25th after a brief illness.

Six Former BU Athletes To Be Inducted In Terrier Hall of Fame

Six former Boston University outstanding student-athletes will be inducted into the Terrier Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday night, Oct. 4, as the highlight to the 45th annual Hall of Fame banquet. In addition, three special awards will be presented to people in recognition of their accomplishments in various fields.
