Named in honor of the Terrier football coach from 1947 to 1956 who also served as the Director of Athletics for five years, this award is presented to a senior who has demonstrated outstanding leadership both on and off the field. The recipient is chosen by the Hall of Fame executive committee after nomination by the Athletic Department.
