Former Boston University graduate assistant coach Will Seward has rejoined the men's basketball staff as the director of basketball operations for the 2007-08 season.
He is responsible for handling the program's daily basketball operations, coordinating its travel itineraries and overseeing the team's student managers. He also assists with the program's Friends Group as well as head coach Dennis Wolff's summer camps.
Seward returns to BU after stints as an assistant coach at Norwich University and, most recently, UMass Lowell. While at UMass, Seward helped guide the River Hawks to a 21-10 record and a berth in the NCAA tournament Sweet 16 in 2006.
While at Norwich, Seward helped lead the Cadets to a 21-7 record and their first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament championship. Norwich also made its third NCAA appearance in that season. Seward helped the Cadets to a 17-11 mark the year before and an appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Tournament.
Seward earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Springfield College in 2002 and a master's in the same area of study, with concentrations in athletic administration and coaching, from Boston University in 2003.
He currently resides in Boston, Mass. |
