BOSTON - Boston University men's crew alumnus Florian Mennigen will row for his native Germany in the coxed four at the World Rowing Championships which will be held from August 26 to September 2 in Munich, Germany.

He will row in the bow, with countrymen Stephan Koltzk, Philipp Naruhn, Matthias Flach, and cox Martin Sauer.

Mennigen won gold in the same event earlier this summer in the Rowing World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland. He and his crew crossed the line first in 6:12.89.
