BOSTON - Freshman striker Aaron O'Neal (Virginia Beach, Va.) received third-team All-Freshman honors from the website collegesoccernews.com at the conclusion of the 2007 season. O'Neal, the America East Rookie of the Year, was the team's leading goal-scorer with six goals.

O'Neal added four assists to also stand as BU's top point-scorer as well. He had a team-high three game-winning goals - the first three goals of his college career. Twice named America East Rookie of the Week, three of his goals have been game winners. O'Neal has scored points in 9-of-20 matches, including a string of five straight games. He has posted at least one point in seven of the final 12 contests.

Joining O'Neal on the third team was David Zamora (Cal Poly), El-Hadji Dieng (Xavier), Johannes Grahn (Hofstra), John Sallhag (St. Francis N.Y.), Bernardo Anor (USF), Karl Reddick (Boston College), Carl Ebers (Wright State), Justin Fojo (College of Charleston), Christian Ibeagha (Duke) and Jimmy Maurer (South Carolina).
