AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07 Indoor: Participated in the 3000 meters three times during the indoor season, setting a career best during the Terrier Invitational with a time of 9:03.30. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06 Outdoor: Finished 16th out of 54 runners in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:21.31 at the Snowflake Invitational on March 26. BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY Attended Flintridge Preparatory School in La-Canada, Calif... Freshman year was named Team League Champion and All-League for cross country and Team League Champion for track... During his sophomore year, his cross country team won the Division 5 State Championship... Individually was named the League 1600 and 3200 Champion his sophomore through senior years... During his junior year, was named to the All-State Team for cross country (senior year as well), set the 5000 meters school record (15:57)... Named League MVP for Running Events (Track) senior year.
