BOSTON - On Saturday, April 5 the Boston University women's crew team will take to the waters of the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. in hopes of recapturing the Virginia Playfair Cup. Last season the Terriers finished second, behind Navy and ahead of George Washington.

Since it's inception during the 2000 season, BU has won seven out of the eight races in the cup's history. Last year Navy won the race by just over five seconds to break the Terriers' stronghold on the cup.

BU returns to action Saturday, April 12 against Yale and Dartmouth in the Class of 1985 Cup in Derby, Conn. starting at 9:00 a.m.

Second Varsity:
