Women's Golf Places Third at Sacred Heart Invitational

MILFORD, Conn. - The Boston University women's golf team closed out its fall slate with a third-place finish at the Sacred Heart Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 28 and Monday, Oct. 29. Freshman Ana Johnson finished atop the BU leaderboard, carding a 167. Johnson finished tied for third overall. Johnson shot an 88 on the first and came back on day two shooting a 79 to leap to third place. Lauren Stong was the next BU golfer to complete the course. She placed 15th overall (87-95--182). Kaitlyn Mardeusz finished in a tie for 16th (91-92--183), followed by Allison Hamilton (T-21st, 98-90--188) and Dana DeStefano (T-27th, 104-93--197). The Terriers will return to action in the spring.
