BOSTON - Sophomore Kaitlyn Mardeusz has earned the America East Golf Performer of the Week honor, after leading the Boston University golf team to the Jack Leaman Women's Championship title over the weekend. Mardeusz finished third overall in the two-day event.

The Novi, Mich., native shot a 79 on day two to help the Terriers catapult four spots to first place. She shot an 86 on day one for a two-round combined total of 165.

On Friday, May 2 BU will return to action to defend its America East championship in Simsbury, Conn. The three-day event will conclude on Sunday, May 4.
