HIGH SCHOOL (Iolani): Played first two years at the Iolani School in Honolulu, Hawaii, before transferring to Leonardtown... While at LHS helped lead the team to a 31-1-2 record... As a sophomore, was named to the All-State Second Team... Two-time First Team All-County (2005, `06), two-time First Team All-Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC)... As a senior captained the team and was All-County Most Valuable Player (MVP), SMAC MVP, First Team All-State, First Team All-Metropolitan (DC), National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Academic All-American, and led the team to a Regional Championship and 4A Division Champions... As a freshman, MSC G89 was a State Cup finalist... Sophomore year played for the Honolulu Bulls G88, and were State Cup Champion and as a junior, played for the Freestate Shooters G90 and were Jefferson Cup Champions, Region 1 Premier League Finalist, Freestate State Cup Finalist, Surf Cup Quarter Finalist, Bethesda Cup Champions... During final season, the team was part of the Region 1 Premier League Final Four and a Disney Quarterfinalist... Ran indoor and outdoor track... Named to the Highest Honor Roll all four years, member of the National Honor Society, and ranked sixth out of 399 students in the graduating class. PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 28, 1989, in Oakland, Calif... Daughter of Captain William and Cecilia Cords and has two siblings, Lue and Robert... Father is a Captain in the United States Navy ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences with plans to major in pre-medicine. |
