Driscoll Promoted to Women's Soccer Top Assistant
March 28, 2008
BOSTON - Liz Driscoll, an assistant for the Boston University women's soccer team, has been promoted from part-time to the top assistant, head coach Nancy Feldman announced Friday. Driscoll will take on a greater role in recruiting as well as have a more active role in team training and game preparation. Her new position will be effective as of April 15. "Liz Driscoll has been a valuable part of our staff as a part-time coach the last two years and has proven to be an excellent teacher, coach and recruiter," said Feldman. "The experience she has gained at the Division I level while here at BU has complemented all she brought with her as a successful Division III head coach." Driscoll has been a member of the Terriers' coaching staff for the past two seasons and has helped guide BU its third straight NCAA appearances and the 2007 America East championship. Feldman and her staff will hire a second assistant in late spring.
