Women's Soccer Hosts Alumni Day
April 23, 2008 BOSTON - On Saturday, April 19, the Boston University women's soccer team hosted its annual Alumni Day, where 20 former players returned to Nickerson Field for a day of soccer with the current Terriers. The class of 2007 was fully represented along with other classes, which stretched through 20 years of women's soccer history, were also in attendance. Deidre Burke Wooley ('87) was the most senior attendee, while Erica Lee ('07) traveled the furthest, coming from Las Vegas. Future Terriers were also in attendance as Deidre Enos Lovett ('01) brought two-year-old Molly and newborn Mary, while Jessica Gray Hammond ('99) had two-year old Taylor and newborn Gavin in tow. The game was followed by a reception in Eilberg, where current and former players had a chance to network and share their common connection as part of the BU women's soccer family.
